Computex 2025 in Taipei is dominated by AI agents going mainstream as Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Intel, and AMD all push next-generation PC platforms. The throughline: AI agents are moving from demos to deployment, and the PC is the primary runtime. Compare with Computex 2024, where Copilot+ PCs launched and redefined the category.
Qualcomm previewed the Snapdragon X Elite Gen 2 roadmap with Cristiano Amon highlighting 75+ TOPS of next-gen NPU performance. Amon’s keynote emphasised Qualcomm as “the AI infrastructure company for the intelligent edge” — Snapdragon now powers devices from mobile to automotive to PC to XR. The Snapdragon X Plus continues expanding the mainstream AI PC market below $1,000.
NVIDIA’s presence centred on GeForce RTX 50 execution — the RTX 5090/5080 are now widely available, with DLSS 4 multi-frame generation delivering genuine 4x framerate improvements. Intel’s Panther Lake and AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ also featured. Computex 2025 belongs to AI-native platforms. The PC race has never been more competitive.
