Snapdragon, Manchester United, and (RED) Unite at Davos to Fight Global Health Injustice

Snapdragon Manchester United RED Davos health initiative

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Qualcomm Technologies announced a powerful three-way collaboration: Snapdragon, Manchester United, and (RED) are joining forces to drive awareness and funding for global health equity. For the 2024/25 season, Qualcomm used its front-of-shirt nomination right to place the (RED) logo on the famous red Manchester United shirt for two special matches.

The men’s team wore the (RED) shirt for the West Ham match on May 10, while the women’s team wore it against Arsenal on May 11. Limited-edition match-worn and signed shirts were auctioned via MatchWornShirt, with all net proceeds going to life-saving global health initiatives through the Global Fund — with additional matching by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Qualcomm’s partnership with Manchester United isn’t just a shirt deal — it’s a platform for global impact. With over 1.1 billion Manchester United fans worldwide, using the club’s jersey to spotlight (RED)’s work amplifies the cause at an extraordinary scale.

As Don McGuire noted: this is what premium sports partnerships can achieve when they’re built with purpose, not just visibility.
