Qualcomm opened fiscal year 2025 with a $11.7 billion revenue quarter — a 17% year-over-year increase and the company’s largest Q1 ever. The results demonstrate that Qualcomm’s diversification thesis has fully matured: handsets are strong, automotive hit a new record, and the Snapdragon X PC segment is now a meaningful contributor.
Cristiano Amon: “We are very pleased with our strong start to fiscal 2025. Snapdragon is at the center of the AI transformation, powering on-device AI across smartphones, PCs, automotive, and IoT. Our technology roadmap has never been stronger.”
The PC segment, now formally reported, contributed over $900 million in revenues — a meaningful number that will only grow as the Copilot+ PC ecosystem expands. Snapdragon X Elite-powered devices from all major OEMs are now shipping globally, and the second-generation Snapdragon X series is on the roadmap for 2025. Automotive grew 68% year-over-year to another record quarterly result, with Snapdragon Cockpit platforms now in production vehicles from dozens of brands worldwide.
Qualcomm is firing on all cylinders. Amon’s vision is becoming Qualcomm’s reality.
