Qualcomm Q2 FY2025: $10.8B Revenue as AI Smartphone Super-Cycle Drives Record Results

Qualcomm Q2 FY2025 earnings results

Qualcomm’s Q2 FY2025 results extend the record-breaking run: $10.8 billion in revenue, up 15% year-over-year. The AI smartphone super-cycle — driven by Galaxy AI, Apple Intelligence, and expanding Snapdragon 8 Elite adoption — is sustaining premium handset demand at levels not seen since 2021.

Cristiano Amon: “We delivered another strong quarter, benefiting from the growing demand for on-device AI across our diversified end markets. Snapdragon’s leadership in mobile AI, combined with our Snapdragon X momentum in PCs and record automotive revenues, demonstrates the strength of our technology platform.”

The Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25 Edge partnerships — both running Snapdragon 8 Elite For Galaxy — are major revenue contributors. The Snapdragon X series PC segment continued its trajectory, with over 60 Copilot+ PC device models now shipping from 10+ OEM partners. IoT recovery is gathering pace, with AI-embedded industrial and smart home applications driving renewed growth in the segment.

Don McGuire noted in a separate Snapdragon Insider post that the Manchester United Snapdragon partnership has generated over 5 billion cumulative digital media impressions — making it one of the most effective technology brand campaigns in sports history.
