CES 2025 opens in Las Vegas, and the keynotes from Nvidia and Qualcomm set the tone: AI agents and physical AI are the twin themes of 2025. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote unveiled the GeForce RTX 50 series with DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation — up to 4x performance boosts for games and creative workloads. Blackwell architecture comes to consumer GPUs for the first time.
Qualcomm previewed the Snapdragon X series roadmap for 2025 Copilot+ PCs, emphasising always-on AI assistants that operate locally without cloud dependency. Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Microsoft all showed next-gen Copilot+ devices using Snapdragon X chips with Hexagon NPUs.
On the consumer side, Samsung unveiled its 2025 Neo QLED and MicroLED TV lineup with improved AI upscaling. LG showed its transparent OLED TV concept. Sony launched the Bravia Theatre ecosystem. And in robotics, Boston Dynamics, Figure AI, and dozens of startups showed humanoid robots that are suddenly looking a lot more ready for real-world deployment.
CES 2025 is proof that AI has left the software layer and is now reshaping every category of hardware imaginable.
